Family activities
There’s plenty for children and grown-ups of all ages to do in this beautiful area - a large choice of country walks (woodland, mountains, lanes and open countryside), or you can see the area on a bike or on horseback - we can recommend stables that cater for groups and individuals of all ages and abilities. Canoeing and kayaking on the River Wye in the stunning Wye Valley is very popular, as is quad bike trekking and rock climbing. But if you’re feeling intrepid and want to try something new, have a go at mountain grass boarding, just 5 minutes away.
However, you don't have to be active and physical all the time! Having spent the morning on a pottery wheel in the beautiful grounds of Eastnor Castle, or painting on porcelain over a cup of coffee at Glazy Dayz ceramic cafe, you can put your feet up whilst our visiting beauty therapist looks after you.
For younger children there is an abundance of farm parks, swimming pools, maize mazes, steam trains, forest walks, castles and trusts to visit in the area. There are plenty of activities to choose from.
The Frome Valley and surrounding areas are some of the UK’s biggest wine, beer and cider making regions, with numerous vineyards and museums to visit- a tasting evening is a great way to relax after a fun-filled day in the country. Or if you prefer to have a theatrical treat at the renowned Malvern Theatres, let us organise a babysitter for you.
