If you’re looking for a country house break with the girls, look no further. Pub walks, horseriding, wine tasting and outdoor pursuits are all available nearby, or you can simply relax and enjoy a special break in comfortable and elegant surroundings with our visiting beauty therapists so you can really put your feet up! 

With a wide range of optional services and outdoor activities, coupled with home made cakes, fresh flowers, wine and chocolates on arrival, Barrington House proves to be very popular.

The property is beautifully furnished and being a former rectory provides spacious period accommodation. Barrington House accommodates 26 people, offering 13 double rooms (6 doubles and 6 twins) and one room with a bunk bed, two large reception rooms, a stunning dining room and a lovely spacious kitchen for catering large groups. In addition, there are delightful gardens, lawns, patios with garden dining furniture, BBQ facilities and a games room (table tennis, air hockey, darts, poker and board games).

The countryside is breathtaking so having filled your lungs with fresh country air, you may wish to snuggle up in front of an open fire at the end of the day or dine outdoors enjoying a round of table tennis or sing along with the guitar.

Thanks so much for letting us stay in your beautiful house. It is one of

the loveliest places I have ever stayed in and we all had such an enjoyable

stay. The rooms were beautifully furnished and I am still missing waking up

to natural sun light streaming in and a view over the fields!

We spent our weekend lounging in the garden, strolling through the local

countryside and indulging in great food and wine in your fantastic dining

room. The house and surroundings really helped to make my hen weekend an

unforgettable experience and I hope we can introduce a new set of friends

to Barrington House next year at some stage.
