Christmas and New Year

If you’ve ever dreamed of celebrating the festive season in traditional country style, you’ll find Barrington House a delight.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to produce some gourmet cooking, and there are plenty of glorious country walks to enjoy before returning to an open fire in any of the three cosy sitting rooms. Decorated in a traditional country Christmas theme with a lovely fresh pine tree (over 12 foot tall!) and you are welcomed with mince pies and Christmas mead. Last year we even provided the snow on Christmas morning!

A range of optional services
are available to ease the burden of planning a festive break with family and friends. From organic turkeys, home made Christmas cakes and puddings to Champagne and festive hampers - we will endeavour to make it easy for you. Have you considered ordering your gifts online and have them delivered to our door ready and waiting for the 25th!

Traditional country festivals and events take place in many of the local towns, including the renowned Victorian Christmas Fayre in historic Worcester and Christmas at Eastnor Castle. Barrington House (being a former rectory) is adjacent to the ancient Norman church St.Mary's, providing a range of services for adults and children to enjoy within a short stroll away.
